About The Safety in Spine Surgery Project

The mission of the Safety in Spine Surgery Project (S3P) is to identify ways to enhance the safety and sustainability of spine surgery and work with stakeholders in spine surgery, including but not limited to patients, providers, payers, and purchasers, to prevent harm.

Research Grants Available

APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 21

To advance safety in spine surgery, S3P funds physician-initiated research studies with the goal of finding new and innovative approaches to improve patient care and safety. As many as two grants are given out annually at a maximum of $10,000 each.
