Michael Glotzbecker

Michel Glotzbecker is assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital with a focus on pediatric scoliosis and kyphosis. He is an active member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS), Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and a member of the POSNA Quality, Safety, Value initiative. His research interests include early-onset scoliosis, reducing spinal infections and quality improvement projects. Dr. Glotzbecker received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Duke University, attended the Univeristy of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and conducted his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Boston Children’s Hospital.
