Dr. Hey is the founder of the Hey Clinic in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Hey’s professional experience includes more than a decade as a spine surgeon within the Duke University Medical Center and at the Hey Clinic, and more than 3,000 surgeries performed on patients from all over the world. With an undergraduate degree in engineering from MIT, a medical degree from Harvard, a Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston and an Orthopaedic/Neurosurgical Adult Spine Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, he has earned a reputation for innovation and excellence. Dr. Hey has served as Chair of the Adult Deformity Committee within the Scoliosis Research Society. This position was earned through Dr. Hey’s extensive experience and devotion to the study of scoliosis treatment.
