Impact of obesity on complications, infection, andpatient-reported outcomes in adult spinal deformity surgery

i) Study Design: Retrospective review of a multicenter prospective database
ii) Obese patients experienced increased incidence of major complication and wound infection.
iii) Both obese and non-obese patients experienced significant improvement overtime following surgical intervention, but obese patients experience less improvement compared with non-obese patients.
