S3P Safety in Spine Surgery Summit 2025 Wrap-up

At the 2025 Safety in Spine Surgery Summit, attendees heard new perspectives from expert faculty about optimizing safety in spine surgery. The meeting was headed by Course Chair, Michael G. Vitale, MD, MPH, and Course Co-Chairs, Lawrence G. Lenke, MD, and Rajiv Sethi, MD. These leaders in the industry, along with Program Chairs Michael Glotzbecker, MD, and Joseph M. Lombardi, MD, welcomed Keynote Speaker, Rex Marco, MD, to the podium.

This is my third consecutive year attending the course. I've been following it since 2021. We have improved postoperative outcomes in both children and adults, and I have not had any more infections in pediatric scoliosis cases. —Safety Summit Attendee
